Who is Bolat Carpentry?

Ugur Bolat brings 24 years of carpentry experience to every project. He completed his woodwork training at college in Tokat, Turkey, and began his apprenticeship at just 19 years old. Within a year he was working independently.

After completing his military service (2001–2003), Ugur secured a 29-kitchen project that launched his career in earnest. He then relocated to Bodrum, Turkey, where he spent over 15 years specialising in marine vessel interiors and high-end cabinetry — working on yacht carpentry, teak restoration, and bespoke fittings for some of the finest properties on the coast.

In early 2023, Ugur relocated to Ledbury, Herefordshire, bringing his expertise to homes and businesses across the West Midlands and South East. Bolat Carpentry was built on the same principle that guided his entire career: the difference is in the detail.
